Noah Potter – Swimmer

Hello, I’m Noah and am in Year 10 at school.

I’ve been coming to Halliwick Penguins Swimming Club since I was in year 2. It took a while for me to learn to swim as I didn’t like putting my head under water, but now I’ve got the hang of it and can swim quite a few lengths.

I’m not a very competitive swimmer and enjoy taking my time and chatting with my friends. I like to swim on my back best. I like it so much here, I carried on coming even when we moved to Kent 4 years ago. My mum really likes coming too, as she gets to chat to her friends!

When I’m not swimming my other two passions are public transport and playing the piano, drums and, most recently, guitar. I spend as much time as I can on buses, trains, tubes and trams and hope to go on a plane before long. I also like finding little cafes on our journeys. We often have a little trip into central or greater London before swimming and often on our way home too!
