Halliwick Penguins Swimming Club is run on an entirely voluntary basis and has been teaching swimming to children and adults with disabilities in Enfield, Southgate and the surrounding areas for over 70 years. We are affiliated to the Halliwick Association of Swimming Therapy (Halliwick AST) and teach swimming and water safety using the Halliwick Concept.
We are a friendly and supportive club. We do a lot of one-to-one work and group activity in the water but also have swimmers that can swim independently, some of them entering competitions. All of our swimmers have a disability.
