We took part in the BLDSA Swim Challenge again this year and our swimmers did incredibly well, all swimming as far as they could for 1 hour!
We had a great time on 15/10/2022 in Ebbw Vale, Wales at the National Championships 2022. Some of our swimmers took part along with swimmers from Barking Beavers Swimming Club to make up the regional team entering from Halliwick ASTRA 1. Teams took part from all over the country and the event was superbly hosted by Halliwick ASTRA 15 (Wales).
Congratulations to Debbie Fisher who has been awarded the Matthew Hennessy Award (affectionately known as the ‘Penguin of the Year’ Award) for 2022.
Very many congratulations to Jackie White MBE and Janet Jones BEM, on them each receiving an Award from Halliwick AST.
We had a great time at the Halliwick ASTRA 1 regional gala on 10/07/2022. It was fantastic to be able to hold a regional gala again – the first since 2019 and the swimmers really enjoyed themselves.
