The next Zoom Halliwick Community Forum will be taking place at 7 pm on Monday, 20/03/2023 by Zoom and the topic will be ‘Almost Everything You Need to Know About the Red Badge’.
Watch a seminar delivered by Lorna Crust, a swimming teacher and founder of ‘Aquakids’ and ‘The Virtual Pool’.
We had a great time on 15/10/2022 in Ebbw Vale, Wales at the National Championships 2022. Some of our swimmers took part along with swimmers from Barking Beavers Swimming Club to make up the regional team entering from Halliwick ASTRA 1. Teams took part from all over the country and the event was superbly hosted by Halliwick ASTRA 15 (Wales).
Congratulations to Debbie Fisher who has been awarded the Matthew Hennessy Award (affectionately known as the ‘Penguin of the Year’ Award) for 2022.
Very many congratulations to Jackie White MBE and Janet Jones BEM, on them each receiving an Award from Halliwick AST.
We had a great time at the Halliwick ASTRA 1 regional gala on 10/07/2022. It was fantastic to be able to hold a regional gala again – the first since 2019 and the swimmers really enjoyed themselves.
Halliwick AST, (the UK’s national Halliwick association), is holding another Halliwick Community Form at 7 pm on 13/06/2022, by Zoom. Why not attend?
The Halliwick Association of Swimming Therapy (Halliwick AST) was founded in 1952 and is the UK’s national Halliwick association, providing support to Halliwick clubs and groups throughout the UK.
As many know, the club began in 1949, being the first Halliwick swimming club in the world. We are looking through some of our archives and plan to share some of interest over the coming months.
Well done to our swimmers who swam their BLDSA One-Hour Swim Challenge today!
