We are so very sorry to announce the sad passing of Laura Cannon on Wednesday, 15/02/2023.
Laura (pictured here [right], with Sally [left]), was a swimmer with Halliwick Penguins Swimming Club for many years.
Although our records may be a little inaccurate, as far as we know, Laura (with her mum (Anne) and her father and brother (Tom and Thomas)) all came to the club in around 1982, when Laura was around six years old.
Laura was truly a member of the family of Halliwick Penguins Swimming Club, and we will always remember her cheerfulness, bright personality and determination to succeed.
We offer our heartfelt condolences to Anne and the whole family at what is a very sad and difficult time.
Rest in peace, Laura. You will be missed by all of us.
